VI COMMANDO

Sgt. Frederick Leslie Haley, formerly of the Royal Artillery, served with No.6 Commando from at least October 1942.

Sgt. Frederick Haley was Killed In Action (KIA) on 26th February 1943 , aged 25 years, during the Battle for Steamroller Farm.

He was the son of Fred and Rose Haley; and the husband of Freda Haley, of Tyersal, Bradford, Yorkshire .
